Holzmarkt (Kapellenplatz)

St. Nicholas Chapel stood at the western end of the market square until 1804. A number of notable buildings surround this square: the late-Gothic Salzstadel, built in 1513; the Baroque Dinglingerhaus, home to the famous Biberach goldsmith; and the Strölinhaus, a former patrician residence dating from 1590.
